Talk about a time when you had to write a poem, whether it was for an assignment, event, or special occasion. What was the writing process like for you, and were you proud of the finished product?

I had to write a poem in middle school in 8th grade. It required 5 stanzas of 4 lines each unlike the poems we wrote which were 4 stanzas of 5 lines each. I preferred that one because it made the rhyme scheme easier with ABAB rhymes. The writing process was pretty challenging and my topic was love and romance. I think my topic for this poem was easier as life challenges to meet is easier than love and romance. Overall I enjoyed writing it and it helped me in the future.

Today in class we read and analyzed a poem.
