 Creating my own origin myth helped me better understand why cultures use stories to explain because they give real world problems through exaggerated myths. For example for my myth I was trying to address the real world problem that its ok to look different but you should not fight over it. Especially you should try to work together to get more done instead of fighting about it. I made my characters, Zaykong, and Godzilla like that on purpose to symbolize mythodical characters, but they can cause mass destruction when they need to. And that happened when they ran into each other and looked different and each one of them thought that it was their own land. For this reason, to communicate the bigger picture in a smaller way, is why origin myths are created.

Summary: In todays class we worked on making our own origin stories and we did that the whole class period as well as read the example and talked about the instructions.
